John A. Gisolfi, MS, CFP®, RFC, is both a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® PROFESSIONAL and is the Registered Principal and Manager of the Bangor, Pennsylvania branch office of Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. John's primary responsibilities include supervisory oversight in addition to maintaining private client counsel.
John gained his undergraduate education in both Business Administration and Psychology at Muhlenberg College (Allentown, PA). He also earned a Master of Science degree with a concentration in Financial Management from the National Endowment for Financial Education's (NEFE) College for Financial Planning. John joined Raymond James in August of 1993. John has 35+ars of experience providing comprehensive, fee-based financial advisory services to his clientele.
In addition to being a Series 24 General Securities Principal, John holds the following securities licensing: Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law), Series 65 (Registered Investment Advisor Representative through Raymond James Financial Services, Inc. member FINRA/SIPC), and Series 51 (Municipal Fund Securities Limited Principal). He also holds a Pennsylvania Insurance Commission Series 10-90 (Life/Health/Accident) insurance license.
For a period of ten years, John has served as an Adjunct Faculty Member with Moravian University's (Bethlehem, PA) Department of Continuing and Graduate studies where he provided accredited instruction in "The Fundamentals of Investment Management" to aspiring CFP® candidates. Successful completion of the University’s 5 course curriculum earned a student eligibility to sit for the 10-hour comprehensive CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification licensing examination.
John and his wife Terri will soon celebrate 40 years of marriage. Throughout that time Terri had been an independent, Certified Personal Trainer developing recreational exercise programs for area senior residents in affiliation with the Lehigh County Area Agency on Aging, while more recently she spearheaded mulitple health and wellness programs in chronic disease self-management as well. In 2024, Terri entered into a well-deserved retirement. Together, they have two children, Nicholas and Emily.
Nick finalized his undergraduate education at Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, MD) with a dual major in both Biomedical and Computer engineering. He later completed his PhD at Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Institute (Pittsburgh, PA) with an education focus in Machine Learning. Following several years of employment by the same Robotics Institute as a Project Scientist in their Auton Lab, Nick has now joined Galois, Inc. as a Research Scientist where his current research interests include decentralized AI, generative models, and trustworthy AI systems.
Emily is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Georgetown University where she was also a Division 1 Libero for the Hoya’s Women's Volleyball Team. Following, Emily spent years with Deloitte as a business consultant specializing in global supply chain management. Afterward, Emily went on to earn her MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business (Philadelphia, PA) and is now the North America Digital Technologies Lead for Mars Corporation (Chicago, IL) where she is chiefly responsible for their online presence.
